Memphis?

I'm contemplating a job change that that involves a move to an area just east of Memphis. I have been having a hard time finding a lake near Memphis that would would be skiable. I've been spoiled by living in east Tennessee with so many lakes available. Does anyone have any knowledge of waterskiing in the Memphis area?

I live just outside of Memphis and go to Pickwick just about every weekend. There are some very good storage facilities so you don't have to tow your boat back and forth each weekend as it is about a 90 minute drive (mostly 4 lanes). Other area lakes are Sardis and Enid (both in Mississippi and just about as far as Pickwick) but in my opinion they are not as nice. Pickwick gets a little choppy but the Tombigby waterway is always a good spot.

Thanks for the info Mike G. I was hoping for something a little closer. It may not end up being a problem for me anyway.
