I am new to the forum and just purchased a used 2006 Moomba Outback V. I was changing the prop and noticed that 2 (of the 6 or screws that hold the metal plate on where the driveshaft exits the bottom of the boat had backed out some. I tried to tighten them, but they were stripped. Any thoughts on what I should do? I can coat them with silicon and put them back in, but it may be a problem down the road. Am I okay with just leving them alone or should I take the boat to the dealship? Winterizing is right around the corner, can I use it until then? Being new, I don't want to hurt the boat.

Thanks
