engine getting too hot 04 Outback
I took my 04 Outback out to replace the swim platform. When I put it back in today and the temp went over 180 to 240. I shut it off immediatley and waited. It starts fine then the temp gauge goes over the normal 180.We then went out slowly. When trying to accelerate it hesitated but runs in neutral. Its been running fine all summer. Could there be debris caught somewhere?I did let it idle for 5-10 minutes at the dock which I never usually do.Maybe some debris got caught? Is there anything I can do while the boat is docked.? One more thing, there is bubbling coming out of the back and the soft hose out of the impeller pump did not feel like there was water pressure-should that hose feel firm? Im hoping it the impeller.
