Looks awesome!!
I have been looking to get that tower. I have an 2001 LS and will do mine this winter. Did you add any support to where it went through the hull?2001 Outback LS

Yes Sir. The tower comes with a 3" circular metal backing plate - but we made backing plates from 1/2" treated plywood. They are approximately 3" x 12" and they fit on all 4 mounts. So far there are no indications of stress hairline cracks in the gel.
So far, I'm very happy with the tower. It's solid and it looks really nice. With the adjustability it looks like it was made for the boat.Sold my Moomba. Currently boat whoring.
