    Default Backroll Landing

Ok-I now have the approach,Takeoff and rotation. But almost everytime I land the board just keeps going out from under me. I hear pushing the handle to the side or letting it out helps but Im having trouble because it is so fast. Where do you look during the rotation so that I can spot the water earlier and anticipate the landing?. Sometimes I see just colors(the sky, then the dark water) other times I see the landing coming,
    HELP!!! IM SO CLOSE.

One thing I found works for some people is to tell them to keep the handle tight and close to their hips. Backrolls are always the hardest flip to land it seems, but once you get it you'll have to forever

I heard letting go of the rope with your back hand towards the end of the trick can sometimes help your landing. Helps square you off to the boat as you land.

my friend can't land it with two hands on the handle, but if he lets go of his back hand he can. So u might want to try that.
