    Default Winch Strap

I was out on the water the other day and noticed that my Winch Strap was starting to rip and fraying a lot. I have had the boat and trailer for just over a year and 4 months but last year i keep my boat on the lake so i did not trailer that often like around 6 - 10 times the whole year. Most of the time i do not crank since i power onto the trailer. Has anyone else had this happen before? Also anyone know a good winch strap to replace it with?

I've replaced winch straps on other boats just from age mostly. After two seasons mine still looks good, i winch up but the diff is we dip the trailer enough that the boats floating. WalMart sells straps, Overton's, West Marine online do as well as any trailer place. They're nothing special and all pretty much the same. Just remember when you wind it on to do so with weight against it. The first time you winch up it'll slip until it's wound tight.
