Major vibration - solved
For the last 3 days my Outback has been vibrating at speed badly. I couldn't figure out what it was. Also, it struggled to get to 55km (34mph) with perfect pass.
Today I swam under the boat. The prop was fine, but I found some sort of rag or fish net wrapped around the prop-shaft. I managed to get it off and voila - back to it's usual flawless performanc.

If you read any kind of troubleshooting guide or service manual for anything you will always find the word "inspect". There's a good reason for that. Glad to hear your inspection revealed the trouble and you're back on the water at full speed.

cool. nice read....
had the same issue with a small piece of ski rope wrapped around our propshaft this last summer. amazing how such a small piece can affect a 340hp 20ft boat'06 Supra Launch 20SSV-gone but never forgotten
