Default 2006 Outback Assault 310 Carb - Engine Hesitation

Took the boat out last night and it seemed as if the engine just wasn't getting enough gas. No problem cranking up or idling, but anything above a slow idle and the boat began to stutter and hesitate, eventually stalling out.
My first instinct was that I ran out of gas, but that was not the case as I had the same problem after adding an additional five gallons.

Any suggestions before I take it in for service? I'm not much of a mechanic, buy any advice would help.

Could be a clogged fuel filter. Maybe your fuel pump. I would change the filter, especially if it has not been changed in the past. Cheap/easy first step.
