First time cleaning & waxing
I picked up my first Moomba middle of last summer. I used it, and always pulled if out of the water and then garage stored it.
This summer she's starting to look a little less glamorous than she used to.
I need to clean the scum and water marks off and then give her a good wax but I'm not sure how to do this. I prefer to not do it wrong, and have to do it twice, or worse yet to damage the finish. I did a search but I seem to come up with a lot of bits and pieces of information. I'm really in the dark here.
If someone could point me towards a detailed seqence of instructions on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanx in advance.Moomba Dad

Starbrite Sea Safe Hull Cleaner will remove waterline scum and stains. I've always used a 50/50 mix of distilled white vinegar & distilled water to remove water spots, then wash/wax afterwards with a good marine wash & wax. I always finish up with Babe's Boat Bright.

try babes water spot remover, we have a charcoal grey lsv and we spray it on and hose it off, it gets most of it without barly scrubbing. even after sitting in salt water for days

if you have west marine around you, i use the citrus boat wash made by west marine (if i'm not waxing after the wash). they also have one that is used if you are going to wax the boat as soon as it dries.

anybody else use wash wax all? I heard about it from a brother in law that uses is for planes, but I've found it puts a nice shine on the black moomba.
