I found the best surf wave on 2008 OBV
All three bags (400lb x 3) on the gravity 3 ballast system should be filled.
Then I use a 750lb Sumo Sac on the port side seats and a 450lb Sumo Sac on the port side bow seats. Wakeplate 1/2 way up and 11.5mph (2700rpm) with 14x14.25 wakeboard prop. That is 2400lb of ballast total.
With only two people in the boat the wave was massive. I will try and get some pics and video next time I am out.2008 Outback V - gravity III ballasts, perfect pass star gazer, hydraulic wake plate, depth finder, water stainer, rad-a-cage tower, board racks, tower mirror, bimini top, audio package d, graphics package e, appearance package, cockpit & tonneau cover, mooring cover, black stainless rubrail, docking lights, OJ 14.25x14.0 prop.
Toys: Ronix Viva 136 with Kai bindings, Phase5 Drew Danielo Pro, Straight Line Sumo Sac 750lb, 450lb, 125lb ballast.
