My 04 XLV makes a massive wave, however I feel like I'm riding way to close to the boat. I know weight up front will make a longer "sweet spot" but I was wondering if any one would make a specific suggestion to my set up. Here is what we are doing now:
1100 in the front
900 Right rear locker (stock gravity 3, plus another 500#)
500 behind the driver
usually have 1 man on the rear of the boat to man the rope and another behind the driver
should I move 1 of my 500's to the bow?
Do I have too much in the rear?
Thanks for the suggestions04 XLV

How are you setting your wakeplate? With that much weight, you should be able to put the plate down more and lengthen it.. also.. grab a few folks extra one day and set the speed with no rider...and have them move from front to back to find a balance...
I have no XLV experience but my LSV likes weight in the bow for surfing to lengthen it.. ..Brad
