Dan, how easy/hard was it to mount that EQ in place there!?
I'm off tomorrow and plan on installing all my upgraded speakers, amp, and EQ but I still don't know exactly how/where I want to mount the EQ!

Your set up looks great, very clean!

Thanks! The EQ install took some time because I had to buy a blank switch plate (just finding the manufacturer and convincing them to sell me a blank version took some time.) Then recutting all the switch holes and spot for EQ with a dremel.

You Sir, have lots of patience! Cleanest install I have seen for an EQ!! I most likely will not go that route, but it looks great. I may try to build a bracket to support it under the dash somehow

Was tired of the lockers being wet all the time so I pulled the carpet and put down Herculiner. Not much to look at but made a huge difference in the time I spend putting the boat away. Here is the floor with the carpet out and prepped:

That's awesome! Did you spray it yourself from cans, or have it done professionally?

Thanks, wish I would have done this a long time ago. I went with the gallon kit of Herculiner and rolled it myself. Prep took some time to get the carpet glue off, but it applied very easily and dried in 12 hours. 1 gallon is enough for 2 boats and is only $75.

I don't see why not. The sides dry out fast so I am leaving it, for now at least.

Thinking of losing my rear compartment carpet (floor only) as well but possibly going with hydroturf or similar. Any drawbacks you can think of?

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
