First run of the year

My buddy came up the lake at 7 am this morning with gear in hand. Had to drag the youngest out of bed (to spot)for some prime skiing and boarding. Had to get in early because of memorial day family commitments. Not bad for a bunch of old fart 40 somethings. too bad we did not have video. here is the boat back in the slip at 8:30 am.

Man I'd kill to be able to ski that early. To be able to make a run before breakfast would be fantastic. Most lakes near me (including the lake we have our cabin on) have a "No Wake Curfew" that is enforced usually between 6:00pm and 10:00am. I feel like us skies/boarders get the raw end of the deal on this one! We miss out on the best water of the day.
