LSV Glove compartment

I have an 08 LSV. the glove compartment keeps on opening up when I'm trailing it or on rough water. Any sugestions on how to fix it?

Sounds like the latch is sticking open. Does the glove box latch button stick down? If so squirt a little spray silicone or WD-40 in the latch and work the button until the latch moves freely. My old MB used to do the same thing.

No the latch is not sticking open it latches and then when the boat hits a bump it springs open.

Maybe the stainless tab that the the lid latches to needs to be spaced out a little.
Gremlins maybe?
