    Default Fuel filter

    I got a new fuel filter but when i look for it on the engine i cant find, I'm i just missing it or is it somewhere else?

    05 outback
    340 hp

    Im not positive were on the 340hp engine it is but i would look on the front wall near the sky pylon. It will look like the one you bought of course but you will see 2 steel lines entering its housing. Another way to find it is find the fuel rail around the engine and follow it back and you will see it that way also.

    thanks for your help, I look tommorrow. Its going to be raining all weekend and cold. Global warming seems to be effecting every else but wisconsin. we are always below average. Its time to move I think

    I have a 05 outback 340 direct drive. The fuel filter on mine was in the rear storage compartment. I had to remove the rear carpet(about 8 screws).
