Trailer Brakes
The surge brake on my trailer stopped working. There is fluid in the master cylinder. Everything looks normal around the disks. I am guessing that it is something wrong with the actuator. I downloaded the owners manual from UFP. Has any one replaced one of these? Has any one switched to electric brakes?

i think that most boat trailers do not use electric cuz they keep dipping in the water. but i can't help with the other problem either.

brakes
Have you tried bleeding the system? It fixed my brake problem. Electrics are probably not a good idea.

There are electric over hydraulic trailer brakes that would work but only the cab controller is electric.
Bleed the brakes first and i'll bet they work just fine. It's a very simple system in that the surge pushes the master plunger, that's it.2007 Mobius LSV
