Transmission Slipping?

Hi all, having a problem just when surfing. Last year when we first started surfing the boat would surge and it felt like the trans was slipping. After a few times out it went away and didnt return until our first time surfing this weekend. It was really bad I guess as I was behind the boat and couldnt tell. It only does it when we wiegh the boat for surfing, for wake boarding theres no problem. I did check my fluids and the trans was clean and full. The v drive actally was below the low mark so I put some 30 w in but didnt get a chance to wiegh the boat again after that. We took it for a long cruise and no problem. Oh btw my boat is a 06 outback v with 150 hrs. Thanks for any help!!!!

Thanks for the suggestion Ed but no I dont have PP. Im almost wondering if the prop is cavitating a bit? Any other suggestions???

Do you happen to have PerfectPass?

If so, next time check to see if you get the same symptoms with the PP off.

Ed,My perfect pass is doing the same thing only at surf speed.Wont even reach full speed sometimes.Is there a design flaw of some kind or settings off a little?
