wake plate problem
I have an 07 Mobius LSV. Went out the first time this year and the wake plate is not working as usual. It will go all the way to the up position but only go down about 3/4 of the way. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it. I know it is not the gauge being broke as the boat does not quite plane out like it usually does. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the fluid level in the pump reservoir is low and the actuators can't fully extend. Fill with ATF and check for leaks.

Anyone no where to fill it up with ATF. I took the mount off of the back of the hull, and that did not seem to get me anywhere. Not sure where the leak is coming from or where to refill it at. It is only leaking from one of the pistons.

Your fill for your wake plate is in the engine compartment. If it still leaks after you fill it take it to your Moomba shop and it will be under warranty. Mine had a leak on the holding tank itself so it needed to be replaced. Also your gauge should be replaced to if it's not working.
Life's great when im on the water in my 05 XLV!

You have a bad o-ring in the actuator. Wake plate is made by Bennett Trim Tabs. They will send you new o-rings and instructions free if you want to repair yourself. I replaced mine and was ok for a season but started leaking again. I called to get more o-rings and they sent me 2 new actuators and mine is an 05.

In the Outback DD its behind a panel in the ski storage compartment at the very back of the boat. At least in my 07 Outback it is.
