    Default flushing you moomba

    we have the inline flushkit in our 2008 lsv.. when you turn the water on water is comming out of the shaft packing , like its squirts out of there good is this normal ? or do i have a problem ?

    First off, I am assuming that you have the dripless shaft seal on your boat. This setup requires water that the engine cycles through itself to supply the water to the shaft seal to keep it lubricated. When you hook up the flush kit, you are introducing much more water pressure than the engine creates causing the water to force itself past your seal. I wouldn't think it would harm anything, but I would try to limit or cut down on the water pressure. You may end up blowing out the seal over time and with extreme water pressure, but I would doubt it.
