steering cable lifespan
I replaced the steering cable on my 02 mobius less than one year ago and the first trip out this year cable is stiff again. Is this to be expected? Would cable have any warranty at all?

Sounds like you may have a routing/binding issue. Cables should last ten +years if they are not exposed to the elements.I you bought it locally I would take it back and request another one.

You should try to trace down the problem that is causing your cable stiffness. Replacing cables is not seeming to fix your problem. Make sure that you cable hasn't rubbed through and allowed water from the bilge in to corrode it.
