bilge pump

I have a 2001 mobius V and the bilge pump will not work properly. I am not sure, but it may be under waranty. I can turn it on and it will run for 3 to 5 seconds and then it will trip the breaker. i can reset the breaker and it will do the same thing. i took it off and looked at the bilge motor. When we turned it on I saw the motor turning. Also, nothing comes out of the hole on the side of the boat. Does this sound like I need a new pump or could there be other problems. thanks.

It sounds like there may be some debris caught up in the pump impellar that may have been in the bilge.If a warrantable issue is at hand, please contact your local dealer.
