    Default Trailer Bearing Maintenance

I have a 2007 LS with a dual-axel trailer. The trailer has the oil-filled hubs - the type where you don't actually pack your bearings with grease. What maintenance do I need to do with this? I don't want to lose a bearing.

This was posted in a recent thread:

There is a small allen head plug in the hub.You pull the plug out and roll the hub so the hole is on the bottom, and the oil will drain.when it's done draining you roll the hub 180 degrees and fill the hub with oil.You will need a small funnel.I ordered a QT of 50 wt.Royal Purple from a friends Hot Rod shop.I used less than 1/2 of the Qt.I believe I pulled the wheels off, which made the job easier.__________________
