Default 1st ride of the year

Had our first outing this weekend and it was a blast. I may have even made a mile long ride, not sure though. Look at this pic, I started in front of the huge cliff in the background and went a little further before I fell. For weight setup in the LSV. I had the intergrated bow sack full, ski locker full, 750 in rear compartment, and another 750 along the side of the seats. Wake plate was all the way up, running 11mph, and only 2 people in the boat including the driver. Pocket was nice and long with a good curl.

The water is really nice out there. If you go around the bend in the background and about a mile up it gets really clear. When it gets to around 15ft deep, you can see everything on the bottom. Water was 70 degrees too, felt great.

It's an inland surfer red tide. It's a good board but I wish I would have gotten something a little more agressive. This is a good chill and cruise board, not that I've got that down I want to carve some more and this board takes a lot of effort to carve. Maybe I'll get a shred stixx some day.

That very board is the prototype Shred Stixx Piranha that Jerry Price (the god father of wakesurfing) approved for production and was ridden by Chase Hazen, Shred Stixx team rider and one of the best wakesurfers in the world.

Replacing that board is like having a Porsche and wanting a VW Beetle
Who said I was replacing my board dude.
