    Default Moomba cruise

    Would Moomba cruise work on an 02 mobius V with the carbed 310 indmar assault engine? Or how about a regular after market automotive rpm based cruise control? I'm just trying to find a cheap way to get some type of cruise control on my boat until I get PP.

    there is a few aftermarcket cruse you can install but they all are not cheap.perfect pass and acra ski .check them out

    I can't imagine the Moomba cruise would be all that cheap either?

    No matter the cost of the Moomba cruse i would just spend the extra money and get the Perfect Pass system. I love it. Also the best thing about it is i can set my speed before i get in the water and who ever i have driving the boat does not have to touch it.

    Moomba cruise only works with throttle by wire EFI engines ... 2006 and newer models.

    The statement above answers my question. Yes, I know perfect pass is the best I've used it many of times with my friends boats. I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and drop $1100.00. Thanks for the replies.

    Having had both there really is no comparison. You will appreciate putting in PP ,and not wasting your time /money on Moomba cruise if that was the ultimate goal in the first place.
