Moomba Cover

Does anyone know who made the stock moomba boat covers on the 2002 moombas. I know my boat has been out of warranty for a long time, but my cover leaks like crazy! So I'm in the market for a new cover and was wondering if the covers were warrantied through their manufactures for longer then say the moomba warranty. The reason I ask is because I know the SunBrella products as of right now carry 7 year warranties on their materials. So I'm just trying to see if I can get a prorated deal or anything of that nature.

I would have loved a heavier (perhaps Sunbrella) cover as described by Ed for my '01 Outback, but the one I got from the dealer in August is just cotton and still straps to the trailer. It was also not very cheap (in the neighborhood of $550). I know that Great Lakes made the originals, but this one was no longer made by Great Lakes (although I believe it is the same as the original). If it weren't raining right now, I'd go look at the tag and give you the new manufacturer for the '01 OEM cover.

If I had to do it over again, there's no doubt that I'd go to a local canvas shop and have one made (there are many shops in San Diego).

You can definitely check a local canvas shop or buy one from your skier's choice dealer.

Monster tower is now offering covers on their website at a very reasonable price, but I don't know anything about them except that they used Great Lakes Boat Company to do their biminis, so I would expect the cover is also probably first quality. Might be worth checking out, I don't know.
