Charging optima blue top
WHat is the best way to charge an optima blue top? It is the d34m so it is for cranking and deep cycle. Also what is a good charger? I have read that you need to use a charger that is made for AGM batts. Thanks

I bought 2 deep cycle Optimas a couple of years ago and at the same time I purchased this charger and it has worked great now for over 2 years.

But it is a little pricey! Luckily it was for a work project so it didn't come out of my pocket.

No, but there might be a concern over providing to many amps causing the gel to boil or something. Unless I am in a super hurry I always thought it is best to use the lowest amps you can when charging a normal wet cell battery.
