    Default Winterization Question (V-DRIVE)

How important is it that I remove the front water drain bolt from the v-drive? The back one came off fine, but I can't seem to get the front bolt. Also, I didn't plan on adding antifreeze. Is that something I should do? I live in southern Indiana, and it will get (and stay) pretty cold for a few months.
