Thread Treatment during Winterization
Does anyone use any kind of thread treatment on the manifold plugs, etc. when replacing after draining and flushing? TFS Paste or anything like that?

I always use vasoline. The block plugs always come out easily at the end of the season.

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem!

Teflon tape also. I leave the plugs out over winter. Last year rust built up in the block threads and had to clean them up with a tap before the plugs would start back.

Teflon tape is good and as for cleaning threads if required a fitting brush for copper fittings works well. Just use gently and all should be good.
