Default Some in-water shots of the boat, and me boarding...

Dad wanted to shoot some pics from the sandbar while I was riding on Sunday. They came out pretty cool, but as soon as we dropped him in the water the wind picked up and our nice water turned to crap, especially right in the stretch in front of where he was standing, so no pics of me doing annything but riding.

Even still they are pretty cool shots I think.

All pics taken with a Nikon D70 with a 300 zoom (not sure of the make/model, it was an old lens dad found from his film photog days.)

Man, it looks cold there. We've been in the low 60's at night and everybody is wearing sweatshirts and jackets. The first 2 years after I moved here I never put on a jacket (or long pants for that matter). Now I reach for a sweater when it gets below 70. It changes you.

I used to go out into Oct. in Ill. I don't think I'd do that now.

Its a Ronix fiberglass handle. I like it because the handle part is pretty large and square.
