    Default Prop Question

I have a 2000 Outback LS- It has a 3 blade on it. What advantages would I get if I changed it to a 4 blade?
    Thanks

Better hole-shot, less top end depending on the pitch.

I just crunched up my 4 blade and went back to a 3 blade OJ 13x13, I think. I have a lot more top end and I don't notice any difference in hole shot. But the previous owner used to load some serious ballast and lots of guys in the boat and used the 4 blade for the low end to get it moving. My knees aren't good enough to put on that kind of ballast and I don't have many friends so I don't really need the extra help. I do run up river 4-5 miles to our ski and boarding spots so I'm loving the faster top end. It will go over 45 now.

Thanks Kane for the info. I guess I just have a stock on right now, but I am not sure. I would like the top end too. We tend to drive 20 or so miles to the next town marina so it would be nice for the speed.
