Which Engine Oil and Oil Filter?

I have a 2004 Moomba Mobius LSV with the standard Indmar V-drive 310hp engine. I currently uses Quicksilver Engine Oil 25W40 is this brand any good? Quicksilver is what ppl use here in Hong Kong the most.

And I have no clue what oil filter they use here.

Search this board for oil filters and you will find a cross reference list of compatable filters. Indmar reccomends 15W40 API service CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, CF-4, and CF/SL for conventional or API SL/SJ/CI-4, CH-4, CG-4 for synthetic in their engines. Most important thing is to change it reguarly.
