Swapping Balast Bags
Looking for thoughts on swapping the standard bag on my outback for a larger bag.
Is there a bag out there that would match up to the existing hoses?
Why are there 3 hoses on my bag? One in, one out, what is the third one, air?
How hard could it be to swap out and connect to a different style bag?
any one done this?It is better barefoot!

I have an 08 XLV and was thinking about upgrading the stock 400's to the 750's I've heard about. I wonder if these would work for a direct swap?

Fly High will be the easiest to swap out for you.. you can get the matching fittings from them that plug in.
Not sure on size, but I am guessing you'll have to put the seat up as sundeck to fill anything bigger than your 400 lb sac..
you may get better wake results by adding about 300 lbs in the walkway up front.. will give you better balance.. When I had an OB, I ran about 400 in the rear seat and 275 in the front walkway..Brad

the 750lb sack will fit in the back with the seat up, but the hoses have to be extended for it. You will need some weight in the bow with it though. When I had my Outback I ran 300lbs in the bow and the 750 in the back.
