Replacing my 400lb with a 750lb only gives me 350lb extra. byronkoz, i ran the same back in my 03 lsv port rear locker,one thing i did was take one of those pool noodles kids play with and cut it length wise so it would grip the underides of the fiberglass and put some around the hatch strutt bar to protect the bag. but i also added the smaller bags across the rear bench and in the walk thru. total was around 1800lb surfing ballast. makes a great wave
