Satellite Radio Question?
I have a Kenwood that is Satellite ready. If I purchase the Sirius Stiletto 2, what else would I need for this to work on my boat?

You should check with Sirius, but I am pretty sure that you will need the car kit. I have the stilleto 10 and I use the car kit. However, this really has nothing to do with the head unit be sat ready. You can buy and antennea and box for the head unit, but that will cost you another subscription. I just pop my stilletto out of the car and into the boat or the house.

You are going to need a car kit and set it up that way. I have the same setup with the stilletto. I recommend use a direct line in on the antenna for best reception

Tazz,
Not sure all the options, but I think the Sirius ready means you can easily connect the Sirius tuner and user your Kenwood stereo to control it... That would consist of an SIR-KEN1 .. this is what is the factory option..
But, I am guessing that you could easily connect the stilleto using a car kit and a 13 pin cable to connect to the back of the kenwood unit...
I am assuming you already have a stileto? If not, there are much cheaper options for the boat.. the SIR-KEN1 can be found for $100 or less..Brad

I have an AUX input on the back of the HU. The front has a USB port that I use for the ipod. What is the AUX input used for? I also have the 13 pin in the back whick could be used for a disk changer.

I have 06 and the Kenwood in it did not have the aux input in the front. It has the 13pin connector.. You can get a 13pin to RCA and connect all sorts of stuff.. My Sirius tuner plugs into the back of the stereo on the 13pin and it has an add in plug where I run my ipod through..
If you are gonna hook up the Sirius to the stereo, I would use the 13 pin myself..Brad

Do I still need the satellite antena? Or is the one off the Stiletto unit work? Where can I find the 13 pin to Satellite connector? Sorry for all the questions.

I just looked up the stileto car dock kit and it sounds like it will plug in thru the mini stereo jack in the front of your stereo.. so you may not need the above piece..
plus, looks like the kit comes with an external antenna.
hope this helps..
