Drivers seat Play OBV 07
is it normal to have a little play in the drivers seat side to side or should it be rock solid. it slides front to back perfect but when hanging out in the waves i can feel side to side play.
Any thoughts?

I double checked mine (06 LSV) while I was out today and it didn't have any play in it. Something must be loose.

jm,
What boat do you have and what does the seat look like? I have a 2006 LSV and it has the tilt up bolster. On this seat, I tilt up the bolster and unsnap the 4 snaps on the front of the seat and pull back the "cover". This exposes the two front bolts/nuts. To get to the rear bolts/nuts, remove the 4 philips head screws that are about in the middle of the seat. You have to have the bolster tilted up to see them. After removing the 4 screws, push the seat bolster into the down position then lift up and remove the fixed part of the seat cushion (the 4 screws attaches the fixed (rear) seat cushion to the seat shell). That exposes the rear bolts/nuts. If you have a different seat, this may not apply at all.
Hope that helps.
