    Default Moomba's... Any wood??

Well, as the title states, I'm wondering if the Moomba's have wood in their construction. This is a general question, but currently I'm looking at the '99 Mobius. If wood was used in the past, and currently is not, does anyone know when the change over happened? I like the Moomba line up in general.

I currently have an '88 Ski Centurion and recently found wood rot and TERMITES in the transom.... so I'm a little sensitive to the idea of wood in a boat right now.

    Thanks!

At the Moomba factory tour they told (and showed!) us that there is absolutely no wood at all used in the construction of any Skiers Choice boats.

Wow, I didn't realize that title was such a great setup...

Anyway, so I'm guessing that the 99 mobius would be a skiers choice boat? I haven't done all my research yet....

We have a Teak Platform. Does that count as wood?

I know for a fact that in 1998 the Dash form was made of wood. This was a technique of several companies in the 90's while making the transition to all fiberglass. The rest of the boat is suppose to be fiberglass.

Wood somebody just answer his question? Reminds me of a joke about a self conscious fellow with a wood eye. Have to see if I can remember it and post it in the jokes forum.
