Sack Pump -- Main Shut Off
I shut the main valve off for the water sacks last fall (the ball valve coming out of the hull right behind the pump). I can't get that damn thing to open again. I pulled it from every angle i can get at it, removed the handle and used a wrench -- NOTHING.
Is there something i am missing? Some pressure issue in the system maybe?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Info only
I just thought i'd mention that once you take the handle off you are able to turn the valve either CW or CCW. the stem that the handle mounts to is kind of a rectangle shape looking down on it and this indicates the position of the ball. If the long part of this rectangle is in line with the in and out of the valve its open and vise versa. Sorry for the blah blah. spray a teflon lubricant at the base of the stem, just a bit. Let it soak hours try to move and repeat until it breaks free. Shouldn't really take all that much pressure to move.

Thanks -- i will start with the lubricant (just couldn't imagine that piece would seize after only 2 years).
