    Default Moomba Mobius

I'm considering buying a 2000 Moomba Mobius in near showroom condition. What can anybody tell me about their experience with this type of boat?

I have the 2000 Outback LS. Could not be happier with it. If the Mobius is in near showroom condition and has been properly maintained it should last you a long long time.

I have a 99 Mobius, 310 carb, and it has been a pretty good boat. Currently have a bout 280 hours. I have had a lot of issues with getting a good seal on the drive shaft so bilge runs often. Other than that - the only real maintenance other than winterizing has been a bilge blower, exhaust flaps, and an MDC gauge controller. One other 'feature' - with the walkthrough hull the winshield seems to drift a bit with what appears to be hull spread - not sure. I had the windshield remounted at about 35 hours and it was back to spread in about a month and then it kind of leveled off.

The boats hold their value. Check www.nada.com for boat prices.

    Have fun

Could be a good deal depends on the price. But the mobius is still a nice boat.

I have a 2002 Mobius LSV that I bought new and couldn't be happier with it. Knock on wood, the only issues I've had so far have been with the trailer actually. If it's been properly maintained it should be a good buy for you. Good luck!
