Any Interest: Michigan Moomba Gathering? (Metro-Detroit?)

It seems like we've got quite a few members on here from the S.E. Michigan area, and since it seems like the Ontario gathering fizzeled out I think it would be cool to organize something for the Michigan Moomba boaters.

If there is any interest I wouldn't mind investing some time into putting something togather...

Ian - I am in Toledo and would be interested in a little Moomba party. If anything develops, keep me in the loop. If the lake isnt too far, I will come up.

If anyone is interested in coming south - I ride on the Maumee River. It isn't the cleanest looking, but the water is fine and most importantly almost always calm. Plus, we have a few bars we can dock up to after the riding is done. Next to the bars downtown is International Park with 8 sand volleyball courts. I am buddies with the guy who runs the courts so we could get on just about anytime. (unless he is holding a tournament)

Just a thought.
