Raise Biminin (2006 Outback V)

I called about buying a forward bimini for our 2006 Outback V and they said $795.00 after shipping. So, I went out and looked at our current bimini and figured it would be possible to raise it and rework it to allow clearance.

Here are the before and after pictures. It actually turned out much better than I thought it would. Total cost of parts was $14.00 and two hours time.

Attached are before and after photos. We now have 6'8" clearance. I may have to move the speakers to the outsides to keep from banging into them.

Can't beat the price. That's pretty much what I did with my pre-tower bimini. I took a hacksaw to it and made some clamps to attach it to the tower. How do you like my Moombafisher?
