the fitting that I used to "mend" the two hoses I got from the hardware store for mending garden hoses (i didnt use the green plastic clamps, just the black fitting)...

as for the hose, at first I tried to use the kind of hose that you can buy at home depot, but I had too many issues with it kinking.... so I found this stuff online... "flex pvc" ... they only had white in stock, but they also make it in black and it appears to be the same stuff that comes from the factory.... they had a warehouse in my hood (houston) so i picked it up there.... had to buy a 50foot roll, but at $36 i could do all of my ballast plumbing projects... I think they allow you to order less than 50foot if needed...

i clamped it together with stainless hose clamps from the depot like these:

Do the 750's fit in the compartment or do they extend into seating area like the factory 400's do? I find that my 400's get kinked at the seating area when I fill them up all of the way.
