Nice! Even with the cost of fuel these days and the headaches they can cause I couldn't imagine being without our boat - besides family and my faith, it's the best thing ever!

Takes me back...I grew up in SoCal, going to Catalina almost every weekend in the summer in our 20' Skipjack, then our 24' Skipjack. I skiied behind these boats! Talk about a wake! These were both big, heavy, flybridge fishing boats. Thanks for the youtube, Daze...

Local - I practically grew up on Catalina myself! Good ole' Avalon... great memories! I went to high school at Vista High we're you anywhere around there? Sorry moomba don't mean to jack the thread it's just you don't see someone bring up Catalina Island too often!

I've been there as well. The vid and the island. More than a few stories from the narrows aka the Star Wars Bar in my day.

yea, H20, great times in Avalon. I think I liked Cat Harbor the best tho...I went to Lakewood High. Class of '78. I'm making more great memories on my '08 outback!!! BOATING................................priceless
