Hey you might want to check out the towsmart insurance.
It is group insurance specific to towboats..
Full replacement value and it also covers the person you are pulling as well as the boat. Make sure you check into the specifics of regular boat insurance because many times the coverage you really should have isnt there!

I've been quoted $ 741.00 for 2 million from another place (Beacon) and the other was from McMichael. This is actually cheaper than the first company. While premier is much less, I've been told that they are hard to get a claim from.

Shulaj....where you should be really concerned about being raped is at the Liquor Store!! I love Canada but your alcohol prices are insane.

I can buy a 36 pack of Miller Light here for about $19 at Costco...I'm guessing it costs you about $50??

we pay more for everything in Canada. i bought my 08 truck in Idaho and saved 11K on what would be a 43K truck in Calgary. booze is definitely cheaper, so is food. electronics are now about the same, furniture is cheaper, boats are priced in US dollars and with our dollar at par they are the same now too! but overall it's cheaper to live in the US. oh ya.....housing, now there is where we are bent over the counter so to speak. a beautiful 2500sqft home on 1 acre with a 1200sqft shop and amazing landscaping is around 450K in NW Idaho (which is very nice country with perfect lakes!). 450K gets you a starter home with no garage in Calgary and your neighbour's house is 6 feet away on both sides. we're actually looking into moving to Idaho and housing is one of the many positives with the US. healthcare costs more, but considering it took my g/f 4 hours to get a prescription i'd say our system is failing miserably. they say it's public 'free' healthcare, but we pay 30% income tax and $1200/yr on Alberta health care and blue cross, so how is that free??
OK i'm done with my rant. actually not quite. our gas here is the equivalent of $5/gallon and we have tons of oil right in Alberta, how fair is that? ok, have a good evening, i'm going to go look at pictures of my new boat!
