    Default Synthetic oil?

Second oil change coming up on our 07 Outback. Had the first done by dealer at 20 hours. Now have 63 hours and I want to change it at 70. Is it ok to go to synthetic and if so what does everyone use? Thanks in advance.

FYI: Indmar recommends that you put 100 HRS. on the motor before switching to a full syn oil
If I were you I would wait until your third oil change. You don't want to void the warranty in case something were to happen

As far as oil recommendations go:

Synthetics are OK after 100 hours of operation.Usingit too soon might
prevent the rings from seating properly. Also remember that using synthetic oil does not change the recommended oil change interval. Marineengines run relatively cold compared to automobile engines and the oil does not get hot enough to burn off the contaminants in the oil so changing the oil is the only way to get rid of the contaminants.
