After picking her up yesterday (deck project before and after pickup)we got her in the water today without a hitch, even walked her into the lift without an issue( thanks to the Lift BB gurus)

Sled,
the hoist hold up to 4000lbs ( moomba is 3000) the canopy is 25ft so room for expansion up the line of moombas.
I had the choice of 120v or 12v, decide i would run conduit along the dock with a gfi on the end for the 120v.A Day at the Lake...Priceless

how do you clear the tower on the lift. looks like you will hit it going in and out.
Sorry I cant find the jealousy icon with this new format!

JV, see I'm adding a motor to my lift but I think I'm giong to sue 12V so that I can avoid running the conduit that I would have to remove each winter when I pull my docks, and s I need over 100 ft of dock to get to the water I need that's a lot of conduit.
And yes by the way where is the Jealousy Icon, that lift is very nice, way nicerer than mine!

Newty,
I have about 12" to 18" of clearance with the boat in the water. Currently the water is about a foot higher than normal. so the in an out is fine.
Canopy on next, mfg sent wrong color (cobalt blue) vs the tan we ordered.A Day at the Lake...Priceless

JV - Two questions: 1) How did you get the lift seated on the lake bed? It looks like there was a float under each of the four pads for the purpose of moving the lift into position by the pier. Thinking that maybe you pulled each float one at a time and dropped that leg of the lift until its pad rested on the lake bed. 2) Also, how awkward, if at all, is it to snap on the cover without having a pier from which to operate on the port side of the boat? Curious about how things work. Thanks. - Deerfield
By the way, very nice set up!Last edited by deerfield; 05-13-2008 at 01:30 PM.
