FAE install tips?
I got my FAE yesterday, and I'm having some trouble with the early install steps. It came with two metal flanges that insert into the boat exhaust outlets. My problem is that they don't seem to go in far enough to allow the FAE to butt up against the boat. I tried tapping them in with a hammer.
Did anyone else run into this?
thanks

tlatoani, take a look here http://www.freshairexhaust.com/insta...llGallery.html. I'm not sure what you mean by "butt up against the boat", maybe the picture install will help with that.

In the 2nd picture under "moomba/supra" it shows the rubber hose all the way against the boat. My FAE came basically assembled. When I push the rubber hose over the flange and the plastic exhaust outlet it wont go all the way onto the plastic outlet because the metal flange sticks out too far. Should I pull the rubber hoses off of the FAE and install them first?
Gah that's complicated. Hopefully Larry replies :P
thanks
