Default oil drain on 05 XLV?

Hi all, I found the hose to drain the oil on my XLV, but there is no way it will reach to the plug. Am I missing something, or do I need to pump the oil out? Is there some kind of special pump that connects to the drain hose?

Any tips are greatly appreciated. (bought the boat in Dec and I think it could use a change).

Here is one option, buy some clear hose, not sure the exact diameter and slide it over the fitting. I seem to be able to fish my oil hose around enough to get it where it will barely come out of the rear drain hole...but then the oil would dribble all over the wake plate... so I slid the hose over the brass fitting...

take a minute to follow the path of how the hose makes its way to the back to the drain hole.. i found that i was going around an obstacle or two that shortened it a bit...
It was a touch easier on my direct drive with a drain under the engine!

Don't forget to get the engine warm prior to draining.. it'll take hours to drip drain if you don't... trust me!
