ski and surf racks
i am set for the wake boards with the roswell swivel racks. i am starting to like them more. would like to know how to make the buttons easier to push.
so, when i don't have the Z5 on the tower, i need a place to put the ski and future surf board, the kneeboard is working out in the rear storage.
what do you use to hold these other toys?
thanks!

My wakesurf boards fit perfectly in the factory wakeboard racks.
Monstertower.com has a surf board as well as a ski rack, and they have a quick release removable so that would work well with the Z5?

I just picked up a dbot5 surf board rack. It holds 2 boards, either surf or kneeboard I guess.
I moved half of the factory wakeboard rack a bit wider on one side, now skis fit just fine. I only have 2 wakeboards anyway. It was a 2 minute job.

Ryan,
On mine, the cord is long enough. Maybe that's because I put one wakeboard and one surfboard in one rack? If I put two surfboards on one rack, it might not be long enough.

thanks for the info. one of the things about this group is that there are never any flames about what someone else is using or says.
i will have to get to a few other shops so that i can see what some of these racks look like in person. i think i am leaning toward the monster racks because the can come off.

Tyger,
I noticed in your sig that you switched the depth gauge and engine temp gauge locations, which would mean that your temp gauge is now down by the throttle. That seems a little risky to me. If your impeller fails and your engine starts to overheat, you might not see it right away because of the location of the gauge. Suggest you put the voltmeter down by the throttle as it's not a gauge one typically looks at while underway.
Just a thought.

when you changed the gauges, did you have to change any wiring in the back, or is there enough wire to move them around?
i haven't look behind yet, but it seems as though i would like some of the guages in different locations. i don't hink i want to mess with anything if i have to change any wiring.

The dbot5 rack is a quick disconnect and holds 2 boards. Not sure how price compares to monster...
