Default Setting up an xlv for wake surfing

I am trying to set up my new XLV for surfing and dont get me wrong its a nice wake compared to my old outback. But just not what i dreamed it up to be. I am filling only the left side ballast and the wake plate all the way down and and getting just a small curl not much bigger than my outback with a couple fat sacs. on my XLV I have the gravity III ballast system and the more I look into it on the forums it sounds like the gravity III isnt enough wieght in the back to do the job I even had a few people on the left side of the boat. I just want that huge wake thats why I purchased this boat so if anybody thinks im heading in the wrong direction or knows somthing I dont please help me out thanks

When you say wakeplate all the way down, you might want to try 75-100% up. Sometimes the wakeplate down/up gets confused.. up will give you more bow lift/more stern in the water/more push on wave.

What size sacs are in the XLV rear lockers? I have 06 LSV and replaced the factory sacs with 750 lb bags on each side. helps a ton.

Cool thanks guys I will put my two 600 pounders in that corner I think to test it out. But I still want to just hit a button to fill it and drain it and not have sacs sitting out all over in my seating area just waiting for the stinking weather

I bet the Fly High 750s will easily replace those 400s and you won't have to dbl stak and have ballast at flip of switch
