BALLAST SWITCHES
I am installing a ballast system in my LSV and need 3 Ballast switches. I want something that has the screenprint on it (fill / empty Etc..) I am running 1 fill and 1 empty pump on each bag so I need a switch that will run 2 pumps.
Any suggestions?2005 Moomba Outback LSV

Check with your dealer to order them. if not, try anthony cooper at Skiers Choice.

Sorry to hijack your thread but since we all are on ballast topic....
I have 06 LSV and it came with stock of 250 lbs of ballast in each locker... I have upgraded my 2 rears from 250 to 550 each and left 250 alone in the ski locker. Moved 2 250s out in the front of bow. I also purchased a 370 tube series and usually lays it down all way from the front bow's floor. (all fat sacs are Fly High Pro X Series)
Now I was thinking maybe I should switch 250 that is currently in the ski locker and put 370 in there. But I don't know if it will fit in there if I fill it up full?
Or should I just leave it as it is?
Any help will be appreicated.....

Hughes,
I have 06 LSV too. I am pretty sure it came with 400 in ski locker... I assume you got Gravity ballast from stock? It fits perfect when full.. can't imagine any bigger fitting..
I have 750s in rear locker. Only use full when surfing.. I was told by previous owner that if you ran both 750s full, you need more weight up front than the 400 center locker sac.. at my age.. sometimes I am content with center locker! HABrad

HA!
Hmmm... Yes, I got Gravity ballast... So i guess it's 400 lbs each afterall. The dealer was the one who told me that each weighs 250 each. But I just looked up on Fly High's website and there's no 250 rear vdrive sac.
However, I cannot find 550 lbs on that website either but I am 100 percent sure that when I bought two of them, the label did said 550 lbs. Maybe they don't make them anymore or the place where I bought from had it custom made? I guess I will need to measure them all so I can finally calculate how much I'm running...
So far, I am assuming...
400 x 3 = 1200
370 x 1 = 370
550 x 2 = 1100
1200 + 370 + 1100 = 2670 lbs
Anyway, I guess I will stick to my original setup!

Well, I did not speak too clearly. Center locker is 400.
Rear locker in 06"s was 250 or 275. I think 275. 07's and up come with 400s all way around now...
Dealer was somewhat correct on rear sacs.
I have heard of some recently putting in a 565lb fly hi in rear..not as big as 750...
Also, reading your latest post, sounds like you kept factory bags in place and added all the additional sacs..
Sounds like you got plenty o weight either way!Brad

04Outback,
I apologize if I wasn't clear but I actually swapped the original fat sac (250s) from the rear and replaced it wtih 550 lbs each. While the 250s is being put out front in the bow along with 370 tube one.
Hydro,
I will try and take a picture of it. I plan to go out this Friday after work if I am able to get out. Will def keep you posted!
